Career Paths for Active Duty and Veterans
ECC recognizes the unparalleled leadership skills, education, and training that can only be acquired while serving with the United States military. Many of our senior leadership served in high-ranking military positions with the Air Force, Army, and Navy before joining ECCís family. As a result, they serve as mentors to ease the transition from military to civilian life and assist incoming military professionals to define and carve out their career path within ECC.
To facilitate this process, ECC created ECCOVETS, an employee group whose purpose is to provide a wide variety of resources to our active duty and veteran employees to include a formalized mentorship program; giving back to our veteran communities in need such as participating in Toys for Tots, providing flags for caskets of fallen soldiers, and to participating in charitable events, such as Run for the Warriors.
ECC actively recruits people who have honorably served in the military and attends veteran-specific military career fairs and participates in other outreach activities. ECC is proud that in 2019, nearly 20% of all new hires were military veterans! ECC maintains on-going efforts to be an employer of choice for military veterans.

ECC was awarded the 2020 HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion Award as a result of our successful veteran support program. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only Federal award program that recognizes job creators who successfully recruit, hire, and retain veterans.
