Decontamination and Decommissioning
A licensed decontamination and decommissioning (D&D) service provider, ECC delivers technically sound, safe, and cost-effective D&D services that eliminate or reduce contaminants to regulatory-based levels for safe occupancy and demolition. ECC has developed and deployed numerous techniques and technologies, using both physical and chemical methods for efficient decontamination. Our D&D services include dismantling and removing contaminated structural and facility components using industry-based decontamination methods; and managing primary and secondary waste streams resulting from decontamination activities.
Waste Management and Transportation and Disposal
Our experienced professionals provide packaging, procedures, supplies, record keeping, and transportation services to ensure proper disposal of radioactive and other hazardous wastes. We assist clients in understanding the regulatory and disposal site requirements for wastes, and in establishing waste management and minimization programs.
