Cameroon Water Development

ECC performed an engineering, procurement, and construction with financing (EPC-F) project to design, develop, and construct a water treatment and distribution system for the residents of the City of Yaoundé, Republic of Cameroon. The project was implemented to alleviate severe water shortages and the lack of infrastructure development in the city. ECC’s water treatment and distribution system provides 50,000 cubic meters of clean drinking water to the City’s more than 2.4 million people. Additionally, more than 120 local jobs were created during Phase I (water treatment plant construction), including 10 full-time jobs for operation. ECC provided local villagers with vocational training and new clean water stand-pipe stations.
