ECC was one of the first firms to successfully complete a Guaranteed Fixed-Price Remediation with Insurance (GFPRI) contract with the Federal Government. In addition to executing a 10-year GFPRI remedial action/ optimization and long-term monitoring contract at Natick Laboratories in MA, ECC also completed a 7-year GFPRI at Camp Crowder (MO) and Fort Chaffee (AR) with the US Army Environmental Command, achieving multiple Remedies in Place (RIP), Response Complete (RC), Site Closure (SC), and/or No Further Action (NFA) objectives at several locations, including many in association with the Pools Prairie Superfund Site. These objectives were achieved on or ahead of schedule, for the originally proposed cost and without any insurance-related support, and in full cooperation with and approval of the USEPA and Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
